May 5th- 2006
Guess it's been awhile. Ball season started. Instead of having my 15yr old in ball- my daughter decided to play soft-ball this year. 6 practices a week and at least 3 games- we have been REALLY busy. With the games started... I know school is dwindling down... even though our school district doesn't get out till June 19th this year. UGH. (we had a strike last fall- and they are threatening to strike again before June...... one of the things I just don't understand)

Found out right before Easter that we are expecting a baby boy in August. I am thrilled. Boys are so much easier than girls. Less hormones I think. I know that I have a struggle with my daughter who is 10- sometimes I wonder if she will be alive to hit her teen years! My boys have been so much easier. My oldest will be driving soon. His summer jobs are all lined up. He makes more a week than I do. (that is kinda of depressing)

My home daycare is thriving at the moment. I have a 1 1/2 yr old- 2 yr old- 3 yr old and a 3 1/2 year old. (keep in mind I am 5 1/2 months pregnant...) I must say I am getting ready for some time off. The two brothers (1 1/2 and 3) were/are temporary. They will be gone by the end of the month... so things will get alittle easier. All the kids are good. Having the boys here has given Samantha a chance to play with kids her own age. Which will help alot come fall when it's just me, her and my baby boy.

I have to make another trip to Pittsburgh on the 16th... my son (12yr old) is having a sleep study done. I have been to Pitts. Childrens Hospital at least 3 times a month since January. I know the trip by heart. I just hope all turns out well. We did find out that most of his headaches are migranes. Not from the Chairi Malformation. And we have motified his diet- and his 5-6 headaches weekly are down to about 2. Which had been wonderful. He has been thru so much. His hands and fingers go numb and don't want to work for him. That is caused by the Chairi. Which will probably mean surgery. But we don't go back to the neurosurgen till next month.

Well I am so happy to see spring. My flower beds look great. Alot needs to be divided BUT that will have to happen next summer. I am in no shape this year. :)
My lilacs are just blooming beautifully. I can't wait to plant some annuals around our new deck. Which excupt for the steps is finished. Now I am in search of some outdoor furniture. I really need a table. I really am shying away from a picnic table. I would rather have chairs than benches. They can be more comfy and placed from the porch/deck to the fire pit.

Well- I am off- morning naps are over and I need to "play" :)
