June 23- o6

Today was an amazing day. For those of you who have had children recently and were over the dreaded age of 35 ..... the new sonograms are truely amazing. Doc's have a cut off date of your 35 birthday for more testing. You are considered a "higher risk" for having children.
I had a level 2 sonogram today. I was told that the pictures are 3d and just wonderful. Well.... let me tell you .... for the first pics where the doc measures and checks everything.... I was not impressed. The pics were worse than the sonogram at 20 weeks. (I am now 31 1/2 weeks) My husband took off at my request to come. I could tell he wasn't impressed. Being slightly color blind... even the regular sonograms don't make much sense to him. Well the doc printed what they needed for their chart and said "now some pictures for you". I think I have 9 .... just as bad and hard too see......THEN he switched the computer to 3d (didn't know it wasn't on before)

AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes..... it was like looking at a newborn in someones arms.... I wish the whole thing was like that... but he gave us 3 more pictures of our little one.
I just layed there and cried. I just couldn't believe I was seeing our son.....

We were told he is healthy and everything measured out to where he should be... all his vital stuff is where they should be .... heart... kidneys... etc...
He is weighing in at 4 lbs and 15 ounces.... and is at the 97th percentile for his 31 1/2 weeks in utero. YEP..... he will probably be over 8 lbs when he arrives. We were told he is in breech position... but that could change easily... and if not it just means a c- section....

I think he looks like Jesse. (our now, 13 year old.)
I will try to put the sonogram pic on here.... but don't hold your breath. I am not so good at these things....

Well... I do have lots to add but I am tired so maybe I'll get on later today or tomorrow... to fill you in on the rest of my "mosaic'd world"
:)

June 9th- 2006
Guess it's been awhile. (again) I just haven't had the time to get online for so-so long! Things have been really busy. The kids still have 1 1/2 weeks of school... lots of ball games and softball games... and camping season started. We went for the first time over Memorial Day. It was wonderfully relaxing. BUT- alot harder than I thought it would be for me. (being 7 months pregnant)
So much is going on here. Decided not to put thousands into re-modeling the attic for the boys. Moved their bedroom downstairs- in the process of moving Hannah to their room and making a nursery out of Hannah's old room.
I did give up two of my Daycare kids... the little boys. (ages 1 1/2 and 3) So now I still have Sam (2) and Owen (3) and Zoie (3 weeks) luckly Owen and Zoie are only 1-2 times a week. I am feeling so much better physically and mentally. And relaxed.
Today Sam and I are packing for another weekend of camping. Although now I know I cannot sit on the floor of the camper... unless I have Ian there to help get me unstuck. (happened last time- I sat and cried like a baby... I just couldn't get up. He had to manuver (sp?) me around and pick me up... actually it was kinda funny- afterwards)
We finally came up with a name for our baby boy......

Jakoby Wyatt

Pronounced Ja-ko-be..... if we want to shortened it, we can call him Jake....
I am scheduled for a ultra sound level 2 in two weeks. (just because I am "older") I was told the level 2 is an awsome view - much better than a regular ultra sound.. I'll have to let you know.

Well I am off to pack - :)
